Halloween 2008

We started out our Halloween with the the 3rd Annual Block Party.  We ate chili, hotdogs and cookies.  The kids had a fun time running all through the yards during the party.

Chloe dressed as Cinderella, and Kyle dressed up as Tigger.

My parents came over for the party and also wanted to watch Kyle go trick-or-treating for the first time.

Tony and Rachel also came over with Lorenzo.  Lorenzo was dressed as a golfer.

All 3 kiddos looked so cute!

We started the trick-or-treating at 7:00.  When Kyle walked up to the first few houses, he would go right in the house and start running around.  It wasn't until the 5th or 6th house that he really got the hang of it.  He would stand there, hold his bag out and say thank you when they gave him candy.  There were a few times when he reached in his bag and gave the piece of candy back....I guess he was being picky.

We finished trick-or-treating around 8:15.  The kids came back to our house and emptied their bags on the floor.  Chloe just started ripping the candy open.

I put the kids in the bath to wash them off.....they were so dirty and sticky!  Then, Tony, Rachel and Lorenzo went on home.

It was a great 2008 Halloween!

Kyle LOVED Chuck-E-Cheese!

On Saturday afternoon, we celebrated with Shelby and Mallory at Chuck-E-Cheese for Shelby's 4th birthday and Mallory's 2nd birthday. We had a fun time playing games, eating pizza, and eating cake. The last time we went to Chuck-E-Cheese, Kyle was about 6 months old, so this was all new to him! Chloe played games with Shelby while Everett and I again took turns chasing Kyle around.

We hope you both had a very Happy Birthday!!

Colin's Birthday Party

The Birthday Boy...COLIN!

Kyle, Taylor, Chloe and Macie

On Saturday morning, we celebrated with Colin at the pumpkin patch for his 2nd birthday. We had such a great time riding on the hayride, eating candy and cookies, eating "scary" cupcakes, playing on the bounce houses, and getting Chloe's face painted! Everett and I took turns chasing Kyle around. We were very tired by the end of the party, but he had such a good time running all around the pumpkin patch. Chloe had a fun time palling around with some of her little friends. With all the chasing around, it was hard to take many pictures. Here are a few pictures that we did take. Also, here's the 2 minutes of video we were able to take.

After having a little sugarfest at Colin's party, we headed off to Shelby and Mallory's party for some more fun and sugar!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch today.

We thought it would be a little less crowded on a Monday afternoon.

Little did we know that a near-by elementary would have a ton of parents and kids show up....

Chloe and Kyle had such a good time. Chloe picked out a little pumpkin for herself, and she also picked one for her grandma.

Then, she and Kyle spent the next 45 minutes running around the pumpkins and playing on the bounce houses.
