SNOW DAY!!

The kids had the day off of school today after an ice storm took over the area!  it is sooo cold!

Halloween 2013

On this Halloween, Chloe was an 80's girl, Kyle was a Barcelona soccer player (with silver hair), and Carissa was Cinderella!  The kids went to more houses this Halloween than any others previously.  We had a fun time watching them run up and down the streets!

September 2013 Soccer

Soccer is in full swing right now!  Chloe is playing on the Boomers team that she has played with since she was 4 years old.  They play on a much bigger field this year.  She asked why I don't have much video of her, and the reason is that when she is on a bigger field, she doesn't touch the ball as much as she did before.  Because she asked me that, I will make sure to get more soccer video of her this month!  

Kyle now plays on 2 teams.  He plays on a new recreational team called the Destroyers.  His Sidekicks team from the past 2 years broke apart with players moving onto other sports, so we found him a new team with a boy he knew. He also plays on an Academy Club team called Dallas Rush.  This team is a little more intense, and they play on a bigger field.  Kyle plays soccer 6 days a week.  He goes to his Rush practice on Monday and Wednesday, his Destroyers practice on Tuesday and Thursday, has a Destroyers game on Saturday and has a Rush game on Sunday.  Busy busy!

1st Day of School

August 26th started the 2013-14 school year.  They love their teachers and are doing well so far!

Hot Air 5K Race

I ran in my first 5K race on August 17th.  There were 193 runners, and I came in 133 with a time of 34:25.  Out of the 36-45 age group, I was 19th out of 34 runners.  Can't wait for the next one!

Chloe's Summer Basketball

Chloe played in a summer basketball league.  This was her first time to play, and she loved it!  She scored many points for the team, and even scored 20 out of the 32 points in one game!  They won the championship game on August 3rd!
