Christmas with the Ferinas!

Kyle loves the CARS movie characters, and he was so excited when Tony and Rachel gave him 6 of the CARS characters tonight!!

We celebrated an early Christmas tonight at our house with the Ferinas! We ordered out Red Hot and Blue BBQ, the kids opened their presents from each other and each sang us a song! We all had a very fun time!

COOKIES!!

We went to grandma and grandpa's house to make cookies today! Chloe and Kyle had a fun time icing and decorating all the cookies!

Pajama Day!

This was the last day before Christmas Break, and the kids were allowed to wear pajamas to school!

They both thought this was very silly, but very FUN, too! :)

Kyle's Holiday Party

Kyle had a fun time at his school party today! He had a good time making a frame, making a snowball made of soap, having snowball fights(with cottonballs), and playing a candy cane matching game! He also had a good time dancing to the Christmas music!

SANTA at a Birthday Party!

We went to a Christmas-themed birthday party, and SANTA was there!! The kids had so much fun at Brynlee's birthday party and have not stopped talking about it since we got home.

We got some great pictures of the kids on Santa's lap, so I don't think we will have to visit him anywhere else this year!! :)

Friday Night Movie!

We have a tradition of a Friday Night Movie at home! The kids get all excited picking out the movie and eating their popcorn!

Tonight's movie is Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.

Kyle's Swimming

Kyle has been in swimming lessons since September, and he has learned so much!! We are so proud of him!!! This session has been good for him, because usually there are only 2 in his class, and sometimes he is the only one!

SAN FRANCISCO TRIP!

It so happened that a couple of our long time friends, Mike and Kristi, were in San Francisco at the same time, so we all met up on Sunday night for dinner at Spork. Everett and Mike went to the same high school and were roommates at UT and after college.

Everett and I were able to head out for a few days and go to San Francisco! We stayed from Thursday 11/19 to Monday 11/23. We had a great time!

Napa
Walked and ate ALOT

On Friday, we took an 8 hour wine tour to Napa. We rode a shuttle to Napa and visited 4 wineries. The ones we went to were Domaine Chandon, V. Sattui, Black Stallion, and Andretti Winery. V. Sattui was our favorite! We then rode a 50 minute ferry back to San Francisco.

We had a very fun trip, but we were ready to come home on Monday to see Chloe and Kyle.

Chloe's Soccer

Chloe had a great first soccer season!

She had her last game on Saturday, and she scored 2 goals, received her first trophy and went to a soccer party at Coach John's house!

Kyle's Favorite Books!

Kyle loves stories before he goes to bed. His favorites that we read every night are Five Green and Speckled Frogs, Big Red Barn, Five Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. He goes through phases where he wants the same books read over and over again. This is the phase of nightly books for right now!
