Halloween was very fun this year! Both kids were super excited about going trick-or-treating!! Kamie, Jeremy, Karlee Brynlee, and Kamie's dad came over to go with us! The guys all stayed home and watched the UT game (Yeah, we won!) while Kamie and I took the kids to get candy!

Laura's 35th!

Even thought it was a messy, rainy day, it was a great birthday!! I like to tell Everett each year where to buy a cake for me, and he usually forgets to come home with one! Not this year! He came home tonight with my favorite cookie cake!! :) He's awesome!! Thanks!!

Chloe took this picture of us!!

This was my surprise celebration last Thursday night at The Blue Goose! I had no idea I would be having a Girl's Night Out that night! It was so much fun! Thanks, girls!! Thanks, Everett for keeping the kids so I could go out!!

Soccer Goals!

Kyle loves to say "Go Chloe!"

Grandma came to watch today. Grandpa was stuck meeting with a roof inspector, but he will make it next time!

Big day in soccer today! First, they had team and individual pictures. Then, Chloe scored 2 goals in the game!! Their team outscored the other team for the first time! Everyone still wins in 4 year old soccer!

Before the game, Everett told Chloe she would get ice cream if she scored one goal and ice cream and gum if she scored 2 goals. She went after that ball today! All it took was some ice cream incentive to get that aggressive side out of her!

Boomers Soccer Game!

Assistant Coach Everett

Chloe played in her first soccer game this morning at 8:00!!! It was so fun to watch 4 year old little girls play! Everyone wins in 4 year old soccer, but if we were taking score, then the other team would have outscored us!

Chloe is #3 on the Boomers! :) The uniforms are BURNT ORANGE!! Woo-Hoo!

Kyle's First Day of PRESCHOOL!

Kyle with the family brick.

This big boy goes into his classroom without any help.

Not wanting to take his backpack off!

He was fine a few minutes later as he played with cars and planes.

Today was Kyle's first day of preschool. Kyle will go on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. Monday and Wednesday will be longer days for him since he will be staying for the after school program until 3:30.

On the way to school, we talked about the the right way to act at school like being nice to friends, sharing, no yelling, no hitting, no screaming...he was repeating me when I was saying these things. I thought we were off to a great start!

He was so excited! I didn't realize how much he liked his backpack until we got into the room. He threw a little fit when the teacher asked him to put his backpack on the hook. Great way to start off! I got him to calm down, and then I left.

I was a nervous wreck all day, but when Everett picked him up, they said he had a good day! They had a little bit of difficulty getting him off the playground, but it was not the tantrum I thought they might encounter. I packed 2 pairs of underwear for him, because I wasn't sure if he would go potty if he was having so much fun, but he used the potty by himself all day long! Yea!

Here's some video of the big boy walking in his new school!

Chloe's First Day of JR. KINDER!

This is the brick we purchased last Spring. They made a walkway with all the bricks.

Today was Chloe's first day of Junior Kindergarten. She will go 5 days per week from 8:30-11:30. She has 8 children in her class...4 girls and 4 boys. She had so much fun the first day, and she can't wait to go back tomorrow!

The school has expanded this year with a new building and a new outdoor classroom/courtyard.
