Bathroom Remodeling

After living in our house almost 10 years, we finally decided to redo our master bathroom.  We did a few changes to it over the years, but now it is exactly the way we want it.  We can now move on to other house projects.  There is always something to be fixed.

We celebrated Carissa's 2nd birthday on March 1st (her bday) with both sets of grandparents! We had  fajitas from Blue Goose and ate cake from Candy Haven!

2013 Talent Show

Chloe participated in the school Talent Show on January 24, 2013. She was in a group with 8 other 2nd grade girls, and they performed a dance to the Grease song, We Go Together. They had so much fun practicing together and performing that night.  She is already talking about what she will do for next year.

Chloe's Birthday Party

Chloe had a slumber party for her 8th birthday on February 1st!  It was the easiest party we have done yet.  The girls this age entertain themselves very easy, so all I did was out set crafts, food and movies, and they did whatever they wanted.  They made music videos to Taylor Swift songs, made bottlecap necklaces, made purses and wallets out of duct tape, ate pizza, cake and ice cream sundaes, and watched Hotel Transylvania, McKenna, and Madagascar 3.  I thought they were all asleep by 12:00, but then I heard one of the girls ripping some duct tape off the roll, so I think it was 12:30 before all the crafts stopped.  I slept in the living room right next to them, and I heard giggling start up about 5:30.  I told them noone was to wake up until 6:30, but once the giggling started, there was no stopping it.  They were all awake by 6:00 am!  They all left at 9:00, and I felt like crawling back in bed, but Kyle's party was in a few hours, so I stayed awake and fell asleep at 7:00 that night after his party!
