Chloe

Miss Independent:

Chloe is wanting to do most things for herself! It all started one morning a couple of weeks ago when she woke up......I went in her room, and she had already gotten dressed and was brushing her teeth! Then, she wanted to fix her own bowl of cereal. I gave her a cup of cereal and a cup of milk. She poured them in the bowl herself. She kept saying "I'm a big girl!" That day, I had plans to eat lunch with some friends I used to work with. I had planned to drop Chloe and Kyle off at one of those hourly drop-off playcares. I ended up dropping just Kyle off, because Chloe decided she was a big enough girl to go eat with "the big girls". She did great most of the time!

Magazines:

Her favorite thing to look at is toy magazines. When one comes in the mail, she spends hours just going through it and telling us everything she wants. I doubt she remembers most of what she tells us. She points to something and says, "That would be good for me." Then, she looks up at us to see what we'll say. I went online and ordered her some toy magazines.

School:

She loves it! It's fun to hear about what she is learning!

Kyle

Talking:

Most of the time when he wants something, he says "Mama mama mama mama."

Homer (our dog) is "Momer" or "Momo"

"Go bye-bye"

"ook a da"(Look at that!)......He said this a few times when he was pointing to the stars in the sky.

Most of what he says is very hard to understand, but he is really trying!

Cars:

His favorite thing right now is cars. He rolls them all over the ground and tables and makes a "vroom" sound as he does it.

Running in the Grass:

He loves running in the grass. Whenever we get home from anywhere, we let him out of the car, and he runs all through our grass, up and down the front steps and then back to the garage to go in the house.
