September has been a busy month!
Everett has been continuing his physical therapy from his back surgery. He is hoping to get back on his bike in a few weeks. He has done better taking it easier this time around, so hopefully there will be no more surgeries in the future.
We celebrated our 11 year anniversary!
I have been busy with PTA at the kids' school and being room mom for Kyle's class. So far, being room mom has been fun and has not been as difficult as I thought it would be. There are times during the month where it takes more time, but overall, it has been fun getting to know all the kindergarteners and be in the loop about what is going on.
Chloe loves 2nd grade! She is always looking forward to going to school. She wasn't feeling well one day, and I told her she could stay home, but she wasn't having that! She's afraid of missing anything! She also keeps busy with soccer and gymnastics outside of school. She is doing rec soccer again instead of club, and she loves it! We will stay with this a couple years, and then we will decide whether to go back to club again. It was just a little too soon for her! She will start her gymnastics competitions in January, and we can't wait to see her perform! Her favorite thing to do in gymnastics is the bars. Watching the Olympics was so fun this year. She was critiquing all the gymnasts!
Kyle has had a great start to kindergarten! He loves his teacher, so that makes going to school so much easier! He only moved his clip 2 times , and that is great for these little ones getting to know the routine! He is aiming for no clip moves this six weeks! He is busy with soccer outside of school! He is still playing on the same team, the Sidekicks! His favorite position is defending and he is great at it! At home, he loves to play with Star Wars figures, play games on the IPad, play the computer and play outside with his sisters!
Carissa started a two day per week class at the preschool right by our house. She looks forward to going when I tell her she is going to school that morning. She has had no problems separating! We also started a Mommy-and-me gym class on Monday mornings at Excite where Chloe does gym. She has so many things she says now that we have lost count. Some of the new ones...milk-nak (I want milk and a snack), go nigh-nigh (says this when she is sleepy), ba-pa (grandpa), hi mama, hi daddy, apple-ta (applesauce), pees (please), and up pees (up please). She pats our shoulders or our faces, she nods her head whenever she agrees with something, she loves to scribble on paper and sits in a big chair to do it, and she loves carrying around everyone's shoes! She will go get all of our shoes and put them by our feet when she is wanting to go outside.
